We've been here two Wednesdays in a row! Came back to see if last week was a fluke it wasn't! The food was super yummy and the service and atmosphere is excellent. The avocado toast with PERFECTLY poached eggs is extraordinary My husband had the Pork loin breakfast last week and it fed him for two days. The steak sandwich with pablano peppers was delicious as were the French fries and onion rings! Well done, team ......we'll done! Now, to top it off they roast their own coffee beans and they're available for sale at the coffee shop. Great find, we'll be back again and again!

We enjoyed breakfast two days straight during our recent stay at The Luminary and were very impressed by this restaurant! We loved the chicken waffles, eggs Benedict and avocado toast. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The food has a southern flair, was perfectly executed and delicious. I was astonished at the reasonable prices of the meals and the portions were hearty. I highly recommend you give this location a try if you are ever in downtown Ft. Myers!

I went to Ella Mae’s for the first time just looking for something good to eat and the food and service I received from Chef Angel in her staff was out of this world ,not only was the food the best I have tasted in Lee County in the last 20 years, but the staff was friendly and very professional. I will definitely recommend it and I will be going back on short notice.

Best fried chicken on my Cobb Salad ever! Everything made " scratch" except the kids' tenders; friendly, efficient team and quick service. Very good bleu cheese dressing. No room for dessert, will be coming back!

This is probably my favorite brunch spot to date. Been searching the city over for a great brunch place and Ella Mae’s diner holds first for me. To start the southern menu has traditional staples like eggs and biscuits but Ella Mae’s goes in the bag for some 5 star entrees that are proven not to disappoint. For starters my favorite is the breaded tenderloin with eggs over easy, and a side of cheese grits. But the eggs Benedict make to my rotation frequently. This is a must try place for atmosphere, quality of food and overall ambiance. Service has always been great and if you’re visiting, you owe it to yourself to make it to Ella Mae’s and make it a family tradition. The shrimp and grits are also delicious along with the bourbon pecan toast!

I had the pleasure of dining at Ella Mae’s Diner recently, and it was such a wonderful experience. I decided to try the salmon Benedict, and it completely exceeded my expectations. The dish was beautifully presented, with perfectly poached eggs, a generous portion of flavorful salmon, and a rich, creamy hollandaise sauce that tied everything together. The English muffin was toasted just right, adding a nice crunch to balance the textures. It was hands down one of the best Benedicts I’ve ever had! The ambiance of the diner was equally impressive. The decor has a charming, vintage vibe that makes you feel right at home, and everything was clean and inviting. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring our dining experience was smooth from start to finish. Overall, Ella Mae’s Diner is a gem! Whether you’re looking for a hearty breakfast, a cozy atmosphere, or just great food made with care, this is the spot. I’m already looking forward to coming back and trying more of their menu. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!

It was just what I wanted. Breakfast with a water view. Eat outside, at inside tables, or at the counter like I did. Very friendly staff, nice atmosphere and good coffee! For a vegetarian option I had the avocado toast with crispy home fries. I followed breakfast with a short walk by the Caloosahatchee River on a breezy morning. This will be on my saved list for Fort Myers!
